Your First Week In Skyharvest Valley

June 1, 2026 · Lukas Berger

Skyharvest Valley is in no hurry, and that's its charm, but a little early planning makes the whole game smoother. Here's how I spent my first in-game week.

Day one, plant the fast crops near your water source and don't overextend. You'll want cash flow before you start building sky-bridges, and the starter seeds pay back quickly.

Once you have a small surplus, build your first bridge toward the nearest island with better soil. Expanding too early just gives you more to water by hand before you've got the tools to automate.

Grab the sprinkler upgrade as soon as it's affordable. That single purchase changed the game for me — suddenly mornings weren't a chore and I could focus on crafting and decorating instead.

Mostly, though, let yourself enjoy it. There's no penalty for a slow day, and some of my favorite moments were just watching the islands connect into a little floating home.
