About
GritForge started as a group chat where four friends kept arguing about which mobile game deserved a spot on the home screen. At some point the arguments turned into notes, the notes turned into guides, and the guides turned into this site. We still treat it like that chat — opinionated, curious, and allergic to marketing speak.
Everything here comes from hands-on play. We install the game, grind through the early hours, poke at the systems most reviews skip, and only then do we open a text editor. If a game clicks, we say why. If it drags, we say that too.
We pick titles across genres on purpose. One week it's a sprawling RPG, the next it's a two-minute arcade loop you play in line at the bakery. Variety keeps us honest, because a strategy fan and a racing fan want very different things from a game.
There's no publisher paying our bills and no quota to hit. We cover what we're genuinely playing, and when we lose interest in a game, we tell you that instead of pretending.
Lukas Berger — Lukas has been writing about games for over a decade and still finishes most of them on the bus. He handles the editing, the arguments, and the final rating calls.
