Building A Party That Actually Works In Emberfall Chronicle
Emberfall Chronicle hands you more companions than you can field at once, and the temptation is to just run your favorites. That works for a while, then a boss wall humbles you. Here's how I rebuilt my party and stopped dying.
The core idea is overlap. Pair a companion with a shield skill next to one who takes big risks, and suddenly your glass cannon survives long enough to matter. I spent a whole afternoon testing combos before I found a front line I trusted.
Pay attention to positioning. The game rewards putting fragile casters out of melee reach, and some enemy attacks only hit in a line. Learning those patterns turned my hardest fights into something almost routine.
Don't sleep on the dialogue, either. A few recruits only join if you handle a conversation a certain way, and some of the best kits are locked behind choices. I missed one entirely on my first run and had to replay a chapter to get him.
